Computers for Absolute Beginners

This is a basic computer class, and when I say basic I mean BASIC! It means we’ll start with a review of hardware, then continue with how to log on, how to use the start menu and the free programs that come with the Windows operating system, including Internet Explorer. If you haven’t had the opportunity to use computers before, or need to fill the gaps in your knowledge, this is the place for you! We will cover exactly what you need to know to start using a computer to open any program, save your work properly, use email and the internet.
Cost: Free ($2 materials fee for each session $12 for all 6 sessions)

Continuing our workshops on using the Internet and all the cool stuff you can find there! Email will be our focus, as it relates getting around on the web, along with social networks, podcasting, videos, ways to make money online, VOIP (voice over internet telephony), and more. This class will run 6 sessions:
