SNAP has received a substantial three-year grant from the New York Foundation to support our community organizing efforts in improving elementary education in local schools.
“Receiving this grant allows SNAP’s Education Committee to partner with the many organizations, churches, schools, and individuals who are concerned about the effectiveness of our elementary schools,” said Dr. Glose, SNAP’s Executive Director.
SNAP is dedicated to helping Fort Greene families reach independence via an array of activities and services, particularly its economic development activities, community advisory partnerships, and active listserv, Fort Greene Speaks.
